Kelly Spicer— Owner

Throughout her 25+ years in the insurance industry, Kelly has worked tirelessly to ensure clients are financially prepared for expected moments in life while providing them with the advice and guidance they need to recover from the unexpected.  

Throughout her career, she has diligently cultivated her team at Spicer Financial Group.  Her team specializes in helping customers prepare for their future by utilizing a wide variety of financial products such as life insurance, retirement strategies, college funding and many other options.  These options are here to provide that extra layer of protection and peace of mind that clients have grown accustomed to receiving when working with the Spicer Financial team.  Her passion for this industry and belief in these financial products are evident in the relationships she has developed and maintained with her clients over the years.     

Kelly is licensed in and helps manage the financial services for agents in several states, but she and her husband Matt live in Greenville, NC.  They have three children: Taryn (age 22), Evan (age 16), and Emily (age 10).

As a former teacher, my passion for helping others has been present all my life. I was in a rut in my teaching career and wanted more time with my children at home, but I was still working to help people. I joined Kelly’s team in June of 2022 and it is by far the best decision I have ever made for myself and my family. I train new team members, finances, meeting logistics, and other behind-the-scenes tasks for the team. I also am life licensed and work with clients to choose the best protection plan for themselves and their families.

Jamie Heath— Office Manager

Hi! My name is Jamie. I started working with Kelly in April of 2022. I work as an administrative assistant for our team. My role is to help our agents and clients with needs associated with policies. With a background in office administration and banking, I thoroughly enjoy serving as a help to make life easier by taking care of administrative requirements for clients on their life policies. I am licensed in North Carolina for life insurance. My work with Kelly and the team allow me to help others as well as enjoy quality time with my family and their love of sports and traveling.

Stephanie Stilley Ham— Office Manager

I was raised in a small town in Eastern North Carolina on our family farm. My parents were big on instilling the value of hard work and responsibility early on, which meant I spent my summers working on the farm as a child.

After graduating from college, I went on to work in management, but after the birth of my first child, I decided to leave my career to stay home.

In June of 2023, I joined Kelly's team to put my skills back into action. I carry my small-town roots of honesty, integrity, and family with me as I perform my daily tasks for Spicer Financial. I am life-licensed and available to help you choose the best plan for you and your family.

Jessica Faulkner— Customer Service Representative

I am a wife and a mom of 2 boys who are my whole world. It has always been very important to be able to be as present as possible in their life. I have always had a passion for helping others. Melissa Perkins— Life Specialist

I have worked in the healthcare industry for over 20 years, from taking care of Hospice patients (end-of-life care), to helping the elderly, and even working with children with special needs/goals. I've spent 15 years managing the administrative duties for a rather large local home care company.

Over half of my life has been dedicated to serving others in our community. So naturally when the opportunity presented itself to join Kelly's team, I knew immediately it would be a great fit for me and my busy life.

Sophia Lyles— Customer Service Representative

I am a Mother of 3 beautiful children, I love talking to people and helping people. At one time I needed all the help I could get, in 2021 I was hit in a car in a pedestrian vs vehicle accident that also turned into my car with my children in the car. Since then I have been limited to things, but during that time my child also got severely sick and it changed his life forever. He ended up having to have open heart surgery at the young age of 5. At that point in my life, I was at such a loss, I almost died and left my children with nothing and that has forever been in the front of my mind ever since. We always think we have plenty of time to get things in order when we get older but I was faced with the reality that we don't always have plenty of time. since the accident, I have gotten all of my children's life insurance as well because I saw firsthand the need for it. My oldest health issues were not from birth but from an accident that also changed his health. Had I gotten it for him at birth his health wouldn't have the same effect on him the way it affects it now. At the beginning of the year, I met Kelly and she offered me a job that fit my schedule doing something I was already passionate about. As a customer service representative I also get the joy of talking to people, so working with this team I get the best of both worlds.
